I Made Chicken Nuggets!
Don't they look delicious? I cut up chicken breast strips into bite sized pieces, and threw them into some beat eggs. I then mixed some panko breadcrumbs with paprika, parsley, and garlic powder. I coated the chicken with the breadcrumbs, and then shallow fried them in a mixture of canola and olive oils. The kids loved them! I am going to try baking them next time, and seeing if I get the same crunch.

They look good ! Panko must be a brand of breadcrumbs that we don't have or I haven't seen. Let me know when you try them in the oven. I would be interested in that !
These look amazing!
I would love to try and bake them as well...maybe just spray with a little oil to get them crispy in the oven?
Dawn ~ panko bread crumbs are a lot coarser than regular bread crumbs, and I think they get a whole lot crispier, too. I started using them a few months ago, and I love them.
TR Hughes ~ I actually have an olive oil spray...I bet that would work great.
Wow these look really good. So crunchy!
Mmm, oh my gosh, those DO look awesome- so crispy! I love homemade chicken nuggets!
Oh, Tammy, they were...especially dipped in ranch dressing. My mouth is watering just thinking about them! lol!
Tara ~ my goal is to get that crunch in the oven instead of frying them. And I love them, too :)
